Limerick GAA club’s senior hurlers robbed while training
by Donal O’Regan Published on Saturday 12 may 2012 13:00 WEDDING bands, cash, laptop, iPods, phones and even pairs of trousers were stolen from the Murroe-Boher senior hurlers while they were training. Thieves broke in to their dressing room and rifled through their possessions. as well as grabbing what they could they took car keys and then unlocked the players’ cars. they threw away the keys so some players couldn’t even drive home.Worst hit of the affected eight players were former Limerick senior hurler, James Butler and Galway minor hurler, Jonathan Dervan.
